Trip to Mysore I really loved this tour so much, the guide was amazing and I got to see textiles, this was amazing to see as I am studying textiles so I was just in awe and so happy to see the cocoon market and silk factory, as well as the palace. It had so many beautiful colors, details, and motifs. Just a wonderful trip to Mysore!

Authentic Mysore silk tour Although had only one day for experiencing some of Indian culture and history, thanks to the driver Mohan and the guide Shiva had an amazing tour: touch the silk cocoons at the market, see all the steps of them turning into beautiful signature sari, stroll at the palace rebuilt in early XX by visionary and to this day loved maharaja, indulge in truly local cuisine, with an extra detour to a local market - colours and local vibe galore… I felt very much looked after all along the tour. Shiva and Mohan were the most kind, knowledgeable and with so much insights to share about their country and culture. Without hesitation can recommend this tour!

AMAZING Trip It was an AMAZING trip full of new info, knowledge and fun. The driver Subramanya is extremely respectful,sweet and always on time. She shared so many info about the different cities we passed through before reaching the final destination; he made the long trip easy and pleasant. We were so lucky with our tour guide, the funny Shiva, who filled us with his knowledge and love to his city Mysoree. Super respectful, professional, fun and decent team!! The trips was worth every minute and every cent. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

Trip to Mysore and Many Other Sights The all-day tour was really the best way I can imagine for a traveler to begin to understand the historic significance and modern day realities of Mysore and its environs. My guide deftly navigated the traffic along the journey; handled all of the necessary monetary transactions; arranged local guides to help me where required at specific sites; informed me about local traditions and etiquette; and tailored the entire experience to my particular interests. We took several side trips to sites I never would have known about otherwise. In all, this was a phenomenal day trip with a meticulous, knowledgeable, and caring guide.

Mysore Silk Tour We had a wonderful time in the mysore silk tour. It begins at a small village where there is a market for selling Silk cocoons! After this quaint market we visit a famous Silk factory set up by the Maharaja of Mysore himself. He had bought some looms from Switzerland and that's how the mysore silk factor's journey began. The factory was noisy and old style and a great experience. We also saw the finished product in the form of lovely Silk Saree with floral designs and gold and silver embroidery. The mysore Palace was our next halt and it was a glorious piece of architecture. This is a fantastic experience. I would highly recommend this tour with Five Senses Tours

Fascinating silk tour My colleague and I had a free Saturday so we decided to visit Mysore. We found about the silk tour of Mysore and that's sounded like fun. It was magnificent. We first saw the an auction of silk cocoons! It was like a medieval version of a stock market 😂. Then we visited a factory setup a 100 years ago by the Maharaja of Mysore. The workers showed us the entire process of weaving those incredible silk sarees. As this was in Mysore we also visited the beautiful Mysore palace and even did a bazaaar walk smelling of spices and flowers. A most memorable tour.
