Wonderful ancient temples Wonderful temples both ancient intricate and beautiful. Trip from Bangalore took 3.5 hours so quite long. Taxi driver very friendly and helpful. Guide at temple helpful and knowledgeable, although accent sometimes hard to follow. A very worthwhile experience.

Mesmerising Belur and Halibedu I've been waiting for a chance to visit Belur Chinna Kesava Temple Complex for many years now and finally I had the chance to visit when I was in Bangalore recently. I booked the tour via Five senses Tours, which was worth every penny. Tipesh the Innova driver was great company and got me to the perfect place for breakfast. The guide Mr Satyanarayana Gupta I met at Belur was very knowledgeable and patiently answered all my queries. I thoroughly enjoyed the trip. Awesome architecture This tour was a way for me to relax after my exam. Although it's a long journey from Bangalore (about 4 hours), the trip was filled with beautiful countryside scenery (something I dearly missed while working in the middle east) and a good chat with Mr. Satish (tourguide) about life in India. We visited two temples-first in Belur then in Halebid. How the stone temples were built was mind boggling. The intricate carvings found in these temples were absolutely stunning. Each sculpture is unique and different from each other. A local guide will show you interesting details around and inside the temples which I think I will miss if visiting on my own. I also had the chance to try Indian food beyond biryani and curry. Thanks to Mr. Satish. Overall, it was a wonderful day trip. Kudos to 5Senses team.

2 remarkable temples at Belur and Halebid Belur and Halebid was a great tour organised by Five Senses. Chandrashekar was a fantastic guide. He came on time to pick us from Hotel lobby and was very well aware of the subject. He was patient and friendly. He ensured we had enough time to see all the sculptures at both the temples and answered all the questions we asked him. The lunch was amazing and it was the local cuisine with rice and roti. We thoroughly enjoyed this day. I would recommend these folks for getting to know India better.
