A great Gujarat historical and cultural experience with Girish It was absolutely the best tour experience that we had in India so far! If you have the possibility to ask for a particular guide - ask for Girish! I mean it! Not only is he knowledgeable, tactful and full of little anecdotes that get into you and stay with you long after the tour. He can also literally bring the visited places and monuments to life by going into details about their construction, mythological and cultural background, etc. The Sun Temple and the Stepwell were amazing sites in their own capacity but the guiding experience delivered by Girish made them a truly unforgettable experience! Ahmedabad Tour with Bhupen The tour with Bhupen was an incredible experience and he was extremely knowledgeable about every stop along the tour. We especially enjoyed the Heritage Walk through the Old City and Adalaj Stepwell. The authentic Gujarat meal that we shared with Bhupen for lunch was our favorite meal on the trip and we enjoyed learning about all the different food. We couldn’t recommend this tour more.

Not to be missed in Ahmedabad My day in Ahmedabad could not have been better. I am here on business and had one day to get out and see the city. Bhupen was a wonderful guide. Incredibly kind and knowledgeable. He took me on a really nice walk through the old city, to a variety of mosques and temples, to a breathtakingly beautiful step well, to the humbling Sabarmati ashram on the river, and a delicious lunch. It was the perfect way to spend my first day here in Ahmedabad and I would recommend his tour to anyone.

Detailed tour of Ahmedabad city If you are looking to discover the city and see the important landmarks, this is a great tour to do it. I was able to cover many sites in a single day. My favorites were the stepwell which was a short drive from the city, and the mosque with the tree of life carving! Those were very impressive along with other temples. I also enjoyed to learn some of India’s history by visiting Mahatma’s ashram and Sardar’s museum. Overall, balanced tour along with tasty thali lunch!

Incredible architecture Memorable tour. Highly recommended. The driver and guide were on time and very professional. The places had amazing architecture and mesmerizing. I was lucky to have visited the sun T egg mole when there was a rehearsal and singing for an upcoming dignitaries. It was very interesting to witness it and imagine how the place would have been during its hay days.

Awesome day I had a very good experience today. Guide Girish had a good plan and was very informative, calm and patient and even accommodated a post office visit for me to mail post cards home. He was kind enough to get me in touch with local artists too and help me plan my stay in Ahmedabad. The complimentary traditional lunch was fantastic! I would definitely recommend the 5 Senses tour.

All Senses enlivened ! Dates : 7th Sept to 11th Sep 2022 We booked 4 trips with 5 Senses, radiating from Ahmedabad across Gujarat. We were a group of 4 ladies, of whom 2 are young-at-heart but super-senior in age. 5 Senses has been most professional - they sent a clean car, a polite and well-mannered driver who arrived before time and of course a fantastic Guide. Their tours seem planned very carefully - keeping in mind traffic conditions, travel times, weather etc. But for us especially they had made the extra effort to ensure the ripe-in-age ladies are also comfortable. Having seen earlier good reviews of 5 Senses I wanted a particular individual as our Guide. Fortune smiled on us, so we have had the pleasure of Mr Girish Gupta’s wonderful company for the tours….One can get a lot of information about these places online but hearing it from our Guide Girish-ji is special !! He has been in this field for a long time but hasn’t lost his enthusiasm for Gujarat’s history, and his pride in the State shines through. He knows the history, dates, names, etc , associated with the monuments but livens up data & facts with interesting anecdotes. A briskly cheerful, smiling & energetic man, he connects easily with young and old, and discourses fluently on many different topics. He is also very well-versed with modern history – of Industrial houses, Educational institutes etc in Gujarat, is very well-read and is a great conversationalist. He has been a part of many Gujarat Tourism Dept initiatives too, and eager to share his experiences, so it was truly our good luck to have him as a Guide. Girish-ji was very sensitive to our needs, spoken & unspoken. He kept an eye on differing capacities to withstand the sun, the heat, etc; and ensured we could stop at decent clean places at appropriate times for bio-breaks, too !!And on a special personal note – my mother (83 y.o.) expressed her wish of eating Undhiyu. This is not the season for vegetables traditionally associated with the dish, but Girish-ji (and his wife) managed to make it at home for us – and it was finger-licking good !! A truly special feeling, to be taken care of so much !There are many places in Gujarat worth seeing and going with 5 Senses guided by Girish Gupta-ji made it really awesome.

Awesome time in Ahmedabad Was in Ahmedabad for a last minute work trip and would like to visit some places in the city. Came across 5 senses tour on TripAdvisor and was really pleased by the excellent service, guide & driver. I got in touch with Narayanan and the response were prompt. He is accommodating to my itinerary request and it was a smooth arrangement. I visited the Sun temple, Queen’s well (Rani Ki Vav) & Swaminarayan Akshardham temple. All of them were spectacular and worth making a trip to. Our guide Kavi is knowledgeable and patient and our driver Mr Singh kept us safe throughout the journey. It is definitely a trip to remember and whenever if you are in India, please book your tour with 5 senses. Highly recommended.

Informative and fun. Starting off with an early and punctual pickup from our hotel, I have to give a quick shout-out to our well-informed and fun guide Mr Girish Gupta. He not only ensured we stay hydrated with the amazing tea of the city but also excited and thrilled with his immense stories and various facts about the city. We ended up having a fantastic lunch with our guide at the famous Lucky Restaurant Ahmedabad.

Knowledge is truly powerful. On behalf of the whole group, I can safely say that our tour was successful because of our well-informed, friendly, Enthusiastic and engaging tour guide, Mr Girish Gupta. Throughout the trip, we never felt short of excitement and joy due to the immense amounts of facts and information thrown at us by our guide. Fantastic day in Ahmedabad I was in Ahmedabad on work and a cancelled meeting created a free day. I decided to explore the city with Five senses Tours. It was an amazing experience. The city tour brings alive the rich heritage of this ancient city. The temples and step well were magnificent. The Gujarat thali was epitome of flavors and the most tasty meals I ate had in India till date! Girish was a fantastic guide and I would recommend this tour to anyone wanting to know Ahmedabad a little better.

Enjoyable Ahmedabad city tour The city tour of Ahmedabad was a great one. Girish picked us from the hotel and we had a great time listening to the stories and exploring heritage monuments like the Gandhi ashram, Jain temple, Siddhi mosque and also a quaint bazaar. The step well was marvelous and i had never seen anything like it before. The lunch was a sumptuous Gujarati meal. It was a wonderful experience and possibly the best way to visit Ahmedabad.

Amazing day out to experience heritage and history This tour is a full day tour from Ahmedabad but worth it. Out guide was phenomenal and made us very comfortable during the day. He was brilliant in terms of knowledge and showed us an opulent palace in Vadodara. We also visited an ancient capital called Champaner which was lovely. we ended the tour at Pavagad a famous pilgrimage site for the local people. What I loved most was that in this tour you get a sense of the real India beyond the cities. I could really connect with this part of India and that was the highlight.

The world heritage site of Rani ki van was incredible. It had 5 storeys and was a marvel of ancient engineering. The Sun temple of modhera was another beauty. The design again was divine. We also got to meet silk weavers jn Patan and it was mesmerizing to see the weaving of Patola sprees. Five Senses Tours did an excellent job with a lovely guide and a comfortable and clean car which picked us from lobby of our hotel on time. This tour is highly recommended for anyone coming to Ahmedabad.

Full day city tour of Ahmedabad The City tour of Ahmedabad was a good one. We were picked up on time from our hotel on a comfortable and clean car. Our guide Vipul took us firsy to sabarmati ashram and showed us the quarters of Gandhiji. Then we visited some magnificent monument like the Jami masjid and Siddhi sayid mosque. The Stepwell was a revelation and so was the sculptures at the jain temple. The tour ended at sardar Patel bhavan. We learnt a lot about this heritage city in just a day. Unforgettable Day tour near Ahmedabad I took the day tour from Ahmedabad to Modhera sun temple and Patan. It was an amazing day with Vipul. He first took us to a magnificent Step well. It was multistoried and have never seen anything like this. Fittingly its a world heritage site. The next destination was an incredible temple for Sun God. The design is so immaculate that the sun rays light it up on summer solstice. The end of the tour was at Patan where we saw skilled weavers making Patola sarees. An unforgettable experience

Incredible marvel of indus valley civilization It has long been my dream to visit an indus valley civilization site. My opportunity came when I was in Ahmedabad and decided to take a tour of Lothal with Five senses tours. It was a dream fulfilled. Our guide was amazing and made us experience how life was here 4500 years ago. The mounds and drainage system can still be seen. The brick walls are still there. The museum here has an amazing collection of clay tablets and seals. It's incredible such an advanced civilisation was thriving 4500 years back and we hardly know anything about them. This is a must visit and one of the most important places to visit in India.

Local foods and shopping near lal darwaza market. I had been to A,bad with my family for 2 days and had very memorable and pleasant stay. Enjoyed morning breakfast of local cuisines like Khaman/Dhokla/Fafda/Jalebi and Butter Milk.And for shopping visited local market area near Lal Darwaza,Ratan Pol,Panchkuwa.

Tour of Indus valley civilization at lothal I signed up for the Lothal tour to 4500 year old Indus civilization site. What a fantastic tour. Our guide Vinod was amazing and answered all the questions we had regarding this ancient people. I had read so much in history abot the Indus valley civilization and how advanced it was for its times. It really up to it as we saw ab efficient underground drainage system in place, hi tech mettalugy and even the world's oldest dock yard. Highly recommended
