The Road to Gir
At daybreak, Ahmedabad slowly disappears in your rearview mirror as you journey into Saurashtra. The highway winds through cotton fields, grazing buffaloes, and roadside dhabas serving hot fafda-jalebi. The closer you get to Gir, the wilder the landscape feels—dusty plains, thorny acacia groves, and an occasional peacock dancing by the roadside.
Morning Safari

Afternoon Safari
As the afternoon approaches, you climb into your safari jeep. The forest is cloaked in sunlight. Then it can happen—through the tall grass, a lioness might emerge, her amber eyes locking with yours for the briefest of moments. Not far away, a pride of lions rests under an acacia, unbothered, regal, and eternal. Your heart races as the safari winds through trails where leopards lurk and antelopes bound gracefully.
