Jeep Safari

Almost every Mishing household has a traditional handloom. One of their most impressive crafts is Gadu (also known as Miri-Jim), a thick, hand-woven woollen blanket that requires significant skill and labor to produce.

Day 1- 7:30 AM - Hotel pick up in Guwahati

12:30 PM- Check in Kaziranga
Check into your eco-resort or jungle lodge near the park gates. From luxury tents to rustic cottages, Kaziranga’s accommodations blend comfort with wilderness charm. Freshen up and relax with lunch in the resort’s garden, often visited by butterflies and jungle birds.

Rise early and enter the jungle for your first thrilling safari in the Bagori Range, known for dense populations of one-horned rhinoceros, wild buffalo, swamp deer, and herds of elephants.

10:30 AM- Tea Estate
Visit a nearby Assamese tea estate to learn about the region’s world-famous brew
2:30 PM- Afternoon Safari
Embark on your second safari, this time in the Kohora (Central) Range, known for a mix of grassland and woodland habitats. It’s excellent for spotting rhinos up-close, as well as large bird flocks, wild boar, and possibly leopards.
