Fantastic private tour of Delhi, Jaipur, and Agra (Taj Mahal) We had an amazing tour of India’s Golden Triangle region over three days and two nights in mid-November. The tour was led by our tour guide Hari Balwinder Singh (5 Senses Tours) and his network of local guides. Our group of 7 (including two kids aged 13 & 11) flew from Kochi to Delhi, where Balwinder met us at the airport with a warm welcome and a lovely, spacious 10-seater van (complete with a dedicated driver). Our tour of Delhi included a visit to the Qutub Minar minaret and the Swaminarayan Akshardham, as well as a "drive by" of the Rashtrapati Bhavan (Presidential residence) and the India Gate. Balwinder and our local guide also took us to a lovely gastro pub that served very good local cuisine. Then, we headed to Jaipur, where our guide negotiated with the hotel to make sure that our included dinner would be available despite our late arrival. The next day, Balwinder introduced us to our local guide and we all travelled to the Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds), the Govind Devji Temple, a nearby local market, the Amber Fort, the Jantar Mantar, and some local vendors. It is worth noting that our local guide for this day was astonishingly knoweldgeable, well-connected, and experienced (he knows everyone, including the PM!). That evening, we drove again to Agra, where we spent the night in order to get an early visit to the Taj Mahal and some local vendors before our return flight to Kochi. Overall, the tour was extremely well planned and managed from beginning to end, and enabled us to arrive in plenty of time for our return flight. At each location, the local guides that Balwinder connected us to were knowledgeable, well-spoken, and kind, and during our many hours of driving our driver was very professional, indefatigable, and extremely accommodating in helping us find rest stops when needed. As our main handler, Balwinder was completely dedicated, knowledgeable, and committed to ensuring that we had a great time. We highly recommend him!
