Visit to Lothal with generous and kind guide and driver- thank you! I went to Lothal with a guide (Anant) and driver (Guatam). They were both very enthusiastic to ensure I had a great day. I loved the extra effort Anant went to to tell me about Ahmedabad and the scenery along the route, even stopping the car to tell me about farming when I showed an interest. The visit to Lothal was very interesting indeed- really instructive for a westerner like me with a rather western-centric education about the development of civilisation. I had a really enjoyable lunch with Guatam and Anant on the way home- and that was another opportunity to learn about real Indian life. Anant also took me to another destination that interested me on the way home- that was greatly appreciated as he was keen to ensure the trip was interesting to me.

Mesmerizing white desert The rann of kutch tour was excellent. We were picked up from our hotel in Ahmedabad. First night was in Bhuj where we saw 2 magnificent palaces. Then we stayed in the tent city for a mesmerising day in the salt desert. The sunrise was spectacular. Very highly recommended

Contentful and great tour with many local features Very good trip. A guide who asked me what I wanted to experience and where I wanted to eat. Come with a desire to see as much local as possible, but eat in a slightly better place. This was fulfilled. Both saw the local in a good way and ate good food. An incredible and most memorable experience! This was an incredible and most memorable experience. We saw the Mahals, Museum and Nirona Village. The Rann of Kutch itself was a vibrant, colourful and amazing place to visit. Everything was so well organised from start to finish. Our tour guide was good and our driver was also very helpful. Magnificent white desert The 3 day tour of Rann fom Ahmedabad was dabo experience. Our tent stay was very comfortable. The white deser at sunset and sunrise were the highlights.Very highly recommended.

Sparkling white desert After travelling to GIFT city on work, we extended our weekend and took an additional day off to explore the Rann fo Kutch. The place is our of this world. The salt desert walk was the highlight of the experience. Our stay was in a very comfortable AC rent in the desert and the food was delicious. Our guide did an incredible job to helping us meet the local villagers who live in the desert. The visit to the bird sanctuary in the marshes was another highlight. I would highly recommend this tour if you can manage 3 days off from Ahmedabad.

White desert and Dholavira tour Dholavira was in the bucket list for long. When I got a weekend off while at Ahmedabad, I booked this tour. It was an incredible experience. The car and guide were amazing. Our stat was in a forest lodge and very comfortable. The safari on white desert was unforgettable. The Dholavira site was thousands of years old and a completely different world.We will cherish these memories for long.

Heritage walk in Ahmedabad This was my second walk with Five senses and it was amazing again. Out guide was fantastic and helped us understand the heritage of this ancient city. Mouthwatering food walk in Ahmedabad I had come to Gandhinagar on work and decided to try tte food walk in Ahmedabad. It was literally a feast for the senses ! The Gujarati cuisine is amazing. Enjoyable walking tour I had some meetings in the GIFT city and then had a free day. I decided to explore Ahmedabad by a walking tour. It was simply awesome. Iconic Monument and the world tallest Statue Such a huge place to visit and lot of activities one can involve himself or herself by visiting the statue of unity. You have the option to visit upstairs in the statue and can see the beautiful dam. Apart from this you can enjoy the light and sound show in the evening plus you can go for the Arti which happens at the bank of Narendra. You can also enjoy the cruise ride in the evening along with the option for dinner.

World Heritage Tours in Gujarat I had the great pleasure of spending 4 days touring Unesco World Heritage sites in Gujarat with Anant. Modhera Sun Temple and Rani ki Vav step well Excellent tour!! The communication from 5 senses was very good. Being a private tour we were able to adjust the timing. They picked us up from the hotel in a nice ac car. Our driver was excellent as traffic is very crazy in India. Our guide Umang did a terrific job. He was very experienced and was a wealth of information. At the Sun Temple we as Americans were very popular. Many people wanted to take pictures with us. We stopped at a place to see how Indian rugs were made. Lunch was at a clean restaurant with delicious local food. It is a long time in the car but definitely worth it!!

Great Day Trip It is a nice private day tour. Being a private tour, they were able to adjust timing a bit. We were picked from our Ahmedabad hotel on time. Car provided was in very good condition and chauffer was polite. Tour guide Anant was experienced and had good knowledge not only about the monuments we visited but also the region. Both the Modhera Sun Temple and Rani ki Vav are great places. One can't imagine how they must have looked in their full glory before the foreign invaders looted and destroyed temple. Both are must visit places. Patola saree weaving felt bit of a let-down - It is just an exhibit and they have no-photographs policy.

A great Gujarat historical and cultural experience with Girish It was absolutely the best tour experience that we had in India so far! If you have the possibility to ask for a particular guide - ask for Girish! I mean it! Not only is he knowledgeable, tactful and full of little anecdotes that get into you and stay with you long after the tour. He can also literally bring the visited places and monuments to life by going into details about their construction, mythological and cultural background, etc. The Sun Temple and the Stepwell were amazing sites in their own capacity but the guiding experience delivered by Girish made them a truly unforgettable experience! Ahmedabad Tour with Bhupen The tour with Bhupen was an incredible experience and he was extremely knowledgeable about every stop along the tour. Not to be missed in Ahmedabad My day in Ahmedabad could not have been better. I am here on business and had one day to get out and see the city. Bhupen was a wonderful guide. Detailed tour of Ahmedabad city If you are looking to discover the city and see the important landmarks, this is a great tour to do it. I was able to cover many sites in a single day. My favorites were the stepwell which was a short drive from the city, and the mosque with the tree of life carving! Those were very impressive along with other temples. I also enjoyed to learn some of India’s history by visiting Mahatma’s ashram and Sardar’s museum. Overall, balanced tour along with tasty thali lunch!

Incredible architecture Memorable tour. Highly recommended. The driver and guide were on time and very professional. The places had amazing architecture and mesmerizing. I was lucky to have visited the sun T egg mole when there was a rehearsal and singing for an upcoming dignitaries. It was very interesting to witness it and imagine how the place would have been during its hay days.

All Senses enlivened ! Dates : 7th Sept to 11th Sep 2022 We booked 4 trips with 5 Senses, radiating from Ahmedabad across Gujarat. We were a group of 4 ladies, of whom 2 are young-at-heart but super-senior in age. 5 Senses has been most professional - they sent a clean car, a polite and well-mannered driver who arrived before time and of course a fantastic Guide. Their tours seem planned very carefully - keeping in mind traffic conditions, travel times, weather etc. But for us especially they had made the extra effort to ensure the ripe-in-age ladies are also comfortable. Having seen earlier good reviews of 5 Senses I wanted a particular individual as our Guide. Fortune smiled on us, so we have had the pleasure of Mr Girish Gupta’s wonderful company for the tours….One can get a lot of information about these places online but hearing it from our Guide Girish-ji is special !! He has been in this field for a long time but hasn’t lost his enthusiasm for Gujarat’s history, and his pride in the State shines through. He knows the history, dates, names, etc , associated with the monuments but livens up data & facts with interesting anecdotes. A briskly cheerful, smiling & energetic man, he connects easily with young and old, and discourses fluently on many different topics. He is also very well-versed with modern history – of Industrial houses, Educational institutes etc in Gujarat, is very well-read and is a great conversationalist. He has been a part of many Gujarat Tourism Dept initiatives too, and eager to share his experiences, so it was truly our good luck to have him as a Guide. Girish-ji was very sensitive to our needs, spoken & unspoken. He kept an eye on differing capacities to withstand the sun, the heat, etc; and ensured we could stop at decent clean places at appropriate times for bio-breaks, too !!And on a special personal note – my mother (83 y.o.) expressed her wish of eating Undhiyu. This is not the season for vegetables traditionally associated with the dish, but Girish-ji (and his wife) managed to make it at home for us – and it was finger-licking good !! A truly special feeling, to be taken care of so much !There are many places in Gujarat worth seeing and going with 5 Senses guided by Girish Gupta-ji made it really awesome.

He is accommodating to my itinerary request and it was a smooth arrangement. I visited the Sun temple, Queen’s well (Rani Ki Vav) & Swaminarayan Akshardham temple. All of them were spectacular and worth making a trip to. Our guide Kavi is knowledgeable and patient and our driver Mr Singh kept us safe throughout the journey. Informative and fun. Starting off with an early and punctual pickup from our hotel, I have to give a quick shout-out to our well-informed and fun guide Mr Girish Gupta. He not only ensured we stay hydrated with the amazing tea of the city but also excited and thrilled with his immense stories and various facts about the city. We ended up having a fantastic lunch with our guide at the famous Lucky Restaurant Ahmedabad.

Amazing day out to experience heritage and history This tour is a full day tour from Ahmedabad but worth it. Out guide was phenomenal and made us very comfortable during the day. He was brilliant in terms of knowledge and showed us an opulent palace in Vadodara. We also visited an ancient capital called Champaner which was lovely. we ended the tour at Pavagad a famous pilgrimage site for the local people. What I loved most was that in this tour you get a sense of the real India beyond the cities. I could really connect with this part of India and that was the highlight.

The world heritage site of Rani ki van was incredible. It had 5 storeys and was a marvel of ancient engineering. The Sun temple of modhera was another beauty. The design again was divine. We also got to meet silk weavers jn Patan and it was mesmerizing to see the weaving of Patola sprees. Five Senses Tours did an excellent job with a lovely guide and a comfortable and clean car which picked us from lobby of our hotel on time. This tour is highly recommended for anyone coming to Ahmedabad.

Full day city tour of Ahmedabad The City tour of Ahmedabad was a good one. We were picked up on time from our hotel on a comfortable and clean car. Our guide Vipul took us firsy to sabarmati ashram and showed us the quarters of Gandhiji. Then we visited some magnificent monument like the Jami masjid and Siddhi sayid mosque. The Stepwell was a revelation and so was the sculptures at the jain temple. The tour ended at sardar Patel bhavan. We learnt a lot about this heritage city in just a day. I would suggest this tour for people wanting to know more about Ahmedabad

Unforgettable Day tour near Ahmedabad I took the day tour from Ahmedabad to Modhera sun temple and Patan. It was an amazing day with Vipul. He first took us to a magnificent Step well. It was multistoried and have never seen anything like this. Fittingly its a world heritage site. The next destination was an incredible temple for Sun God. The design is so immaculate that the sun rays light it up on summer solstice. The end of the tour was at Patan where we saw skilled weavers making Patola sarees. An unforgettable experience

Incredible marvel of indus valley civilization It has long been my dream to visit an indus valley civilization site. My opportunity came when I was in Ahmedabad and decided to take a tour of Lothal with Five senses tours. It was a dream fulfilled. Our guide was amazing and made us experience how life was here 4500 years ago. The mounds and drainage system can still be seen. The brick walls are still there. The museum here has an amazing collection of clay tablets and seals. It's incredible such an advanced civilisation was thriving 4500 years back and we hardly know anything about them. This is a must visit and one of the most important places to visit in India.

Brilliant tour of Ahmedabad city Five senses tours made my day. It was such a lovely tour where I saw fascinating heritage structure like the jami masjid, a glimpse of what inspired the father of the nation at Sabarmati ashram, an incredible jain temple with spectacular architecture, and a very sumptuous gujarati lunch. Our guide Vipul was a great guy and he told me so many things about the city. This is a must do tour while in Ahmedabad.

Local foods and shopping near lal darwaza market. I had been to A,bad with my family for 2 days and had very memorable and pleasant stay. Enjoyed morning breakfast of local cuisines like Khaman/Dhokla/Fafda/Jalebi and Butter Milk.And for shopping visited local market area near Lal Darwaza,Ratan Pol,Panchkuwa.

Tour of Indus valley civilization at lothal I signed up for the Lothal tour to 4500 year old Indus civilization site. What a fantastic tour. Our guide Vinod was amazing and answered all the questions we had regarding this ancient people. I had read so much in history abot the Indus valley civilization and how advanced it was for its times. It really up to it as we saw ab efficient underground drainage system in place, hi tech mettalugy and even the world's oldest dock yard. Highly recommended
