7 Day Rajasthan Tour: Jaipur, Jodhpur & Jaisalmer
Rajasthan Experience
This 7-day Rajasthan Tour moves from royal science to desert legend. In Jaipur, explore the astronomical genius of Jantar Mantar and the grandeur of Amber Fort and City Palace. In Jodhpur, the mighty Mehrangarh Fort rises dramatically above the Blue City. The journey ends in Jaisalmer, where the golden ramparts of Jaisalmer Fort glow at sunset and the Thar Desert comes alive with camel rides, folk music, and starlit skies. Expect a rich blend of history, architecture, and living culture across Rajasthan’s most iconic cities.

Amber Fort
Raja Man Singh I is credited with starting the construction of this red sandstone and white marble Palace, which is a key part of the Golden triangle tour. The formidable walls defended its residents from enemy attacks. Maota Lake provides a splendid backdrop. Intricate wall paintings, frescos and the use of precious gems and jewels in these paintings add to its timeless beauty.
Hawa Mahal
Built by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh in 1798, Hawa Mahal is a five-storey extension in the form of a honeycomb. It is unique among the sites of the Golden triangle tour, and has 953 small windows, called jharokas, decorated with intricate lattice work. The entire palace represents the crown of the Hindu God, Lord Krishna. Even though this palace was built during ancient times, it reflects the scientific vision of Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh in a distinct way. The windows of this palace have been designed in such a way that irrespective of the time or season of the year, cool breeze always persists inside the palace.
Jaisalmer Desert Camp
As the sun sets over the dunes of the Thar Desert near Jaisalmer, the desert camp comes alive with a camel ride across rippling sands, followed by traditional folk music and dance. Lantern-lit evenings, cool desert air, and dinner under a star-filled sky create an unforgettable Thar Desert experience that blends nature, culture, and timeless desert hospitality.
Mehrangarh Fort
Mehrangarh is one of the most spectacular forts in India. It is perched in an impregnable rock at 120 metres above the ground. It was built in 1438 by Rao Jodha, the founder of the city of Jodhpur. Some scenes in the Hollywood movie “The Dark Knight Rises” were shot in this fort!
Patwa Haveli
The opulent Patwa Havelis are arguably the most lavish homes of Rajasthan. These belong to the Patwas , who were successful businessmen who had a flourishing trade in banking, finance, brocade, silver and opium.
Jal Mahal
Possibly the most serene sight of the Golden triangle tour is the beautiful Jal Mahal Jaipur, the Water Palace. This low-rise symmetrical palace, that once was a shooting lodge for the Maharajah, appears to float in the centre of Sagar Lake. The light sand coloured stone walls of the Jal Mahal Jaipur are at a stark contrast to the deep blue of the waters of the lake.
Jaipur City Palace
The palace was constructed by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II. As most structures in Jaipur this palace also reflects the fusion of Mughal and Rajput architecture. We will get to see gardens, buildings and courtyards, temple and a museum.
Rao Jodha Desert Park
Rao Jodha Desert Rock Park was created in 2006 to try and restore the natural ecology. Thorny shrubs were removed and a suitable environment was created for native rock- loving plants to thrive.
